Of all the Major League Soccer clubs, the LA Galaxy are the best known. Through big name signings, success on the pitch and worldwide branding the Galaxy have became one of the worlds most lucrative club sides. Whenever they are in town the stadiums sell out and fans flock to see their big names players.

After coming into existence in 1995, LA Galaxy broke the mould and heralded a new era for Major League Soccer when they captured David Beckham from Real Madrid. One of the biggest names in World Football Beckham transformed the fortunes of the team and gave a boost to the entire league. Suddenly, everyone wanted to see the Galaxy!

Success on the pitch soon followed and the Galaxy won the MLS Cup in 2011, 2012 and 2014 to become the dominant force in the American game. Further players were recruited to appeal to add to the home grown talents of Landon Donovan and Cobi Jones. Robbie Keane, Irelands record goal scorer, came in and scored a barrage of goals and captained the side. Talented Brazilians were recruited in Juninho and Leonardo who lit up the league. The Galaxy formed a team which dominated the 2010s.

As attendances continue to rise and the Galaxy continue to go from strength to strength the future looks bright. Steven Gerard was signed from Liverpool in 2015 giving the club a world class midfielder at the top of his game. The LA Galaxy deserve their place in the elite of world football and the praise for turning round the fortunes of the MLS.
